RE: selling cars

We all have those coulda-shoulda's, but $2800 in the late 70's would be 
like $28000 now...anybody got that kinda cash laying around for an extra 
toy? I sure don't. I missed out on a 69 427 Corvette (sorry for the foul 
language) in 78 for $2700 calling right after it sold, but it would have 
been tough for me to make the payments in 78. I't easiy to remember the 
cars, but we tend to forget our financial situations at the time and the 
fact that they were just used cars. They always transport me back to the 
70's, maybe that's why I love them so much... take a trip and never 
leave the farm!
