I have an Edelbrock model 1406 on stock manifold with spacer.

It depends on what kind of carb you have. A lot of them only have pumps on
the primaries and none on the secondaries. So you probably only have an
adjustment problem. What kind do you have?

Ok, all you carb experts. If I look down the throat of the carburetor 
Without the car running and hit full throttle, shouldn't I see gas come out 
Of the primaries and secondaries? I'm not seeing anything in the secondaries

Which is probably why the car seems starved when I jump on it. I wish I was 
Better at this stuff as I like working on it. I don't mind a mashed knuckle 
Now and again, but I don't have the knowledge. Oh well......
