When I started on my 64 wagon one of the rear doors had become stuck from
years of outdoor exposure. It took severall
days of it - but sparying WD-40 around the opening in particular around the
latch/striker area using the straw extention it finally
opened. Once we could see into the jamb it became apparant that the
latch/striker had rusted and somewhat fused together. Even
with the chemistry aid it still took a lot of COPS type sholder work to get
it to release. I'm sure yours can't be as problematic
as this was. Just be patient and proceed with caution and you should
succeed damage free. Good Luck & Happy Holidays

Hi all,
Hope everyone had a nice Christmas!
The grinch must have stopped by and messed with the driver's door on a '64
Dodge in storage. I last opened the door around Hurricane Ike: worked
fine. I tried to open it today and no go!
The door key makes the door lock latch go up and down, but neither the
outside button nor the inside door handle will let me open the door.
Any tips about fixing?
Thanks,
Gary H.
