An amendment!

Read the instructions that come with the polygraphite bushings if that's the
way you decide to go.  Use the lube that comes with them, it really works. 
Also like the lower control arm for instance when replacing the rubber
bushing you remove the inner & outer metal sleeves for the rubber.  Only the
outer & rubber leaving the inner sleeve when replacing with polygraphite. 
They use a different logic with their system.

Don't use poly, use polygraphite.  The poly squeak, the polygraphite took
care of that with graphite impregnated in them.  The polygraphite bushings
will give you a stiffer more controlled ride and last forever.  You already
know what rubber drives like and that it will wear out in time.  That said
if it is not a daily driver this will be the last time you will probably
have to replace any bushings for a long time.  It comes down to personal
preference on the type of ride your looking for.  Soft = rubber  Stiff =
polygraphite

I know this has probably been  asked before,  We are rebuilding  the front
end on the Savoy and are looking for input, use elastomer /  poly bushings
or go
back with the rubber oe stuff and why?   Thanks
