RE: A/C issue



I did a conversion in my '64, I would be happy to talk to you about it 
if you want to email me directly. I chose to convert because I didn't 
want to contribute to the ozone burnup (I don't tan well), and the new 
refrigerant is more available (and legal). The A/c runs great and is 
very cold. The conversion cost about $2000 including labor, and the 
compressor is about 1/4 the size and weight.
