'66 should be slip yoke unless the 273 is where they put all the leftover B&T units (like they did in '65 with the 904 - never say never).
A well built 273 is nothing to sneeze at.

A guy here has a 273 and 4 speed he pulled from a 1966 plymouth.
sounds like he wants to get rid of it pretty bad so i might be able to
get it for a couple hundred. he says the "motor ran when Pulled". i
will assume its a rebuildable core.
would this tranny be a ball and trunnion style tailshaft? or just a slip yoke?
 and this would also have the small bellhousing and 9 1/2 inch
flywheel, correct?
 Is the price right? i know your typical 4 speed is worth about 300
bucks , but this might be a ball and trunnion , which isnt worth as
much, i guess
