Re: wire gauge question

yep the' 64 connector used the snap-in connections for this ammeter
lead, but the bulkhead connector i grabbed at the junkyard yesterday
was from a ' 65 dart 4 door, and it didnt use this approach anymore,
they basically did the pass-thru approach two lugs that stick out with
a little funky clip to bolt the engine bay side of the lead to. Its
still a bit lame as theres still metal touching plastic, does seem
like just passsing the whole wire thru eliminates any metal to
plastic contact. at some point they moved up to the three snap in
connectors instead of two.
maybe I will just go back and do it this way, one long lead all the
way from alternator to ammeter

Please address private mail -- mail of interest to only one person -- directly to that person. I.e., send parts/car transactions and negotiations as well as other personal messages only to the intended recipient, not to the Clubhouse public address. This practice will protect your privacy, reduce the total volume of mail and fine tune the content signal to Mopar topic. Thanks!
