Re: can somebody with a numbers book run these numbers

Correction on the VIN -

V4 42 711039

V - Valiant V8 (Valiant 6 was "1")
4 - premium series - Signet or Barracuda
4 - 1964 model year
2 - Hamtramck assembly plant

711039 - 211,039th car off the A body line (started at 500001).

In 1964 you could not tell a Barracuda from a Signet by the VIN. You can tell a Barracuda from a Signet by the model number on the data plate. with either 149 or V49. "9" was used for the 2-door fastback hardtop.

Canadian VIN, by the way, had "1" for Valiant 6 or "7" for Valiant V8. Again, you cannot tell a Barracuda from a Signet with the VIN but the body plate had VVX1-P23 / VVX2-P23 for a Signet hardtop or VVX1-P29 / VVX2-P29 for a Barracuda hardtop.
