RE: leaf spring helpers?



I believe traction bars will not help a Mopar.  I have read that they 
are not effective because Mopars have semi-elliptical springs, in that 
they are stacked towards the front shackle.  On Ford and Government 
Motors cars, the springs are stacked evenly on the center.  The genius 
in the Mopar design is that the short front portion of the main leaf 
spring acts as a sturdy lower control arm, of sorts.
