RE: Convert points to electic

Still seems to me that a couple of days of sitting should not result in
drastic measures to get the car started...

I know all makes have their quirks, but I had a Eldorado vert that
always started right up after sitting (starting when it was warm was
another story)

Is the quirk with Stromberg carbs? I thought someone mentioned an
aftermarket carb that didn't have this problem..

since I don't drive every day, I hate to have to allocate an extra hour
to get the car started and wash off the gas smell when someone invites
to meet them for lunch ;)

There must be a better way..

BTW: Thank you Don for being so patient with me... I love old cars, and
really fallen in love with Mopars (scares my wife) but have very little
knowledge of the internal workings.. I've learned a ton already, and
look to keep on learning

Thanks and Happy Easter
Bob

PS. yeasterday at the store, a 4 or 5 year-old called my car an
easter-egg car... LOL I guess the color is right :)

----
Please address private mail -- mail of interest to only one person -- directly to that person. I.e., send parts/car transactions and negotiations as well as other personal messages only to the intended recipient, not to the Clubhouse public address. This practice will protect your privacy, reduce the total volume of mail and fine tune the content signal to Mopar topic. Thanks!
