Brake Light Switch

Hi folks,

I have a question about brake light switches.

I need to replace the switch in my 64 440 and went to our friendly NAPA
for a replacement.

They have ordered a switch for me that seems to cover all makes and
models from 60-68 ish.

my questions is: The original switch pushes through a mounting bracket
and then is tightened down with a tin nut. Both the electrical
connections are on the end of the switch.

The new switch pushes into the bracket and somehow stays put without a
nut.

Have any of you changed switches?

Any problem?

Thanks.

K.
