Re: Russo and Steele

My wife is the same way. As long as it doesnt impact the household and kids, its all good. This means I have to budget like most folks to do any upgrade or major fix. I've been saving for close to 6 months to get enough cash to go thru my original 273. So, this budget rebuild (No longer a refresh) will have to stay within budget. Trying to keep it under $1200, cuz thats all I have for it. Things like income taxes this year might delay. Funny how income didnt increase, morgtage interest did increase, no changes to W4, and I am still having to pay this year instead of getting a check like last year.

My wife doesn't car what I do to my Polara as long as she doesn't have to HEAR about it! Of course, I don't put our household money into it, I buy/fix/sell cars/bikes on the side for my project money. Needless to say, the Polara sits idle a lot of the time, too.

Lets go..by the way..what's disposable cash ??
Guess I have never had any, so not familiar with the defination..lol
Bill....you need another vehicle..nothing better than 2 money pits. Then u get in a dilemma as to which pit to toss the money. (that's called "brain racking") I REALLY need to sell one of mine so I can start another project!! Two money pits are tough, don't think the wife can handle 3.
Ain't life good?

Doug
My wife calls my 65 Coronet 2 dr post a bottomless money pit.
If she knew I was building a 383 into a 496 stroker I would be sleeping in the guest room....Hmm not a bad idea as our 5 yr old grandson keeps climbing into our bed early in the am and making it almost impossible to get any rest afterwards. The older he gets the harder he kicks me in the back...
Back to the subject; all I can do is drool over my keyboard right now.

Later
Bill Harrison 65 Coronet 2dr post.

If anyone has some disposable cash, you might want to hit
this auction.
Several 62-65 Mopars along with lots of Hemi cars.
