To the best of my knowledge, convertibles and hemi's had "torque boxes" to strenghten the frames. They were located in front of the rear spring mounts and near the back of the torsion bars. . Those are probably interfereing with mounting the frame connectors. I would be interested in buying them if I could see a pic and more information. I bought a pair of bolt in frame connectors on ebay. I can't seem to get
the rear section mounted on my car. Are the rear spring mounts/
subframes different on convertibles? These seem like really nice custom
made pieces off a 1964 B body. Figured this would be easier then nialing
my gutters back up,Should have known better!
