Straighteng/rechroming vs replacing bumper




This is my .02 cents...
I have always had better luck by having a bumper straightened and rechromed than I have replacing a bumper. Seems as the original always fit better. 
Why, I don't know. 
Went I replaced the front bumper on my Satellite I had to do a bit of bracket tweaking to get it fitted correctly. Nothing a hot wrench, 6 pack of good beer, and a bit of time couldn't solve. I suspect that I will have the same problem when installing the bumper on the Petty car.
