I understand. Guess its one of the pits in the cherry bowl of playing with old vehicles. Enough cannot be said for a custom shop at times like these.

Hi all

I still not have fitted mine yet, but watching this email with much interest.

Why do they sell a product like this that does not fit?

When I ordered mine, (for my 63 Dodge Polara 318) I was not told of any cutting or modifying that needed to be done.

looks like the collector needs to be removed and a new collector made
shorter with bent pipe to follow original pipe layout to clear steering
you can see if the last was used it will hit the motor mount and must be
on the driver side.
