Never thought about that, might come in handy.. Mine is just for show, just had to drill the mount holes.

The template is for where to cut the holes to the carbs, I thought that was what he was after.

You got the correct info, 1/4 inch from rear of hood.
Kramer did not have a template when I got mine. Don't think
I would spend the money for it. Not much of a problem to
mount.
