Re: 65 Plymouth Steerng wheel

Some deal.  Sounds like they are hungry.  IF you Durango was that bad you would never keep it on the road.  They must have thought that they had rube in line.  I would spread the word to every one that I know about that little scam.

Just something to be aware of at Firestone and it's lifetime alignment.  Had
my 1990 Durango state inspected at the local Dodge Dealer Friday and they
found I needed inner tie rod ends.  Cheep-o me I replaced them myself and
went to Firestone for the lifetime alignment.  They called me about an hour
later telling me I needed $2400.00 in Upper & Lower Balljoints, tie rod ends
idler arm, shocks & some sort of alignment kit.  When asked how did it pass
inspection they stated they must have missed it all.  When asked to "Show Me
I'm in Missouri you know, they stated insurance won't let customers in shop
Had them give me an estimate and pull it down and I am going to reconfirm
with Dealer then probably with Missouri Highway Patrol.  Just be aware and
confirm when taking your car to Firestone and I am sure not all of them are
theives.  I was hoping there service was better than their tires, guess
not!!

Lifetime alignment is a great deal... I only get it on cars I plan to keep,
which invariably get sold!

Life time is $159.00 at Firestone.  They are negotiable off that price also.
