Re: brakedrums

Definately interchangeable.
If you are getting a price difference between front and rear it is because the front include the hubs.

Fellas: My dementia is getting the best of me but I don't think front and rear drums are interchangeable,

right? In any event, Ollie is dead on...you must carefully use a press for front or rear hubs.

Knud-Erik,
Don't get violent with a hammer. You will most probably bend the drums. Take
them to a shop and have the hubs (hydraulically) pressed out.
Been there..done that.

Hello people,

I need to get the hub of the front brake drum? As I am planning on using the
drums on the rear axel.(I have installed disc brakes up front) the rear
drums are worn out. It looks like I have to be really violent.

Any ideas anyone?

Thanks in advance for you time,
