RE: Transmission self healing (was RE: sending unit)





My 65 Polara that i got 3 yrs ago had NO fluid in the tranny when I went to pick it up.  I slowly and some how drove it to my buddy's shop.  Put some tranny fluid in her and away we went, no problems.  Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that the car had been sitting for the better part of 12 yrs according to the license plate.  In conclusion, sometimes they do fix themselves.
