RE: ’62 Cop Car?




A friend of mine has an X Texas Highway patrol car for sale it's a 62 but I
m not sure if it is a Dodge or Plymouth but it has lights and antennas.  I
can get more info if anyone is interested.

Dave,
Yes I agree! Even though it was rough like I said, and with no lettering at
all, it still looked like…it just had to be…a cop car. The police car theme
seems to have a pretty strong following. In fact, most larger shows I ever
attend generally have several “cruisers” (pun intended) show up and often
times, they are Mopars. I wouldn’t be surprised if there is a club or web
site somewhere out there dedicated to the classic police cars of the past.
I think it’s quite fitting for these cop car owners to want to share their
passion along side our cars too, after all, they’re part of what made street
racing, awe…I…I mean cruisin’ so much fun, right? And without them, as I
recently learned right here, well we wouldn’t even have certain colors like
- Bust Me or Arrest Me Reds now would we?
