Hay Rich, Are you going to attach the scoop permanetly to the hood- or some other way? I think I will order my teardrop hood scoop tomorrow. It is fiberglass and I think I will attach it with large head stainless pop rivits, The scoop and the hood will be Mopar flat black with 413 C.I. lettering on the sides of the scoop . I am going for the mid 60's look. Good luck with your project, and will plan on seeing you at SAC Saturday. twist Dodger's arm. 8-)....................MO

Ollie has been giving me tips so I guess if anything goes wrong it's his
fault :-) I did my welding on the 18ga withh my 90amp Harbor Freight
flux wire welder set as low and slow as it would go. I didn't blow too
many holes. I put some JB Weld on the inside of the scoop along the rear
seams and that sealed things up. Now i have some Evercoat fiber glass
filler and then some liteweight filler to purty it up with. I think it's
coming along OK. I'll be starting on smoothing out the nose of the hood
next and then I can cut the hole in the hood to mount the scoop. Heck I
may even get it done in my lifetime :-)

I am having fun!
