Reason for the question on 1963 New Yorker engines

Thanks for the info. The reason I asked is I found someone selling what I think is a pretty unusual car. It's a 1963 Chrysler New Yorker LIMO! It's the airport-type limo with 3 doors on each side. From the pics the seller posted, it looks pretty solid. I wanted to make sure it would have a big block, not so it could be ripped out, but because a limo powered by anything other than a big block would probably not have much umph. I'd really like to take a look at the car. It's been for sale for a while and is now VERY reasonably priced. I think it would make a fun cruiser. My only issue is, I don't know if I could fit it in my driveway! Seriously! I wouldn't be able to turn it around in my driveway and backing down my hill onto a major street would get someone killed! Put it this way: when I had my car trailer, I had to back it up my driveway so I could pull straight out.

Anyway, I'll keep everyone posted. If I don't get it, I'll post up the info so maybe someone else can grab it.
