Re: hood hinges 65 dodge coronet 440 convertible

There is someone building fiberglass hoods for '62 and up B bodies.  They should know everything about the hinges.  I stumbled across their site about three years ago, had it saved in my "favorites" and my computer died and that is one of the things i lost.  I did call them to verify what they had as I was thinking of putting a big Intake from Indy on my engine and I didn't want to chop my hood on the braces.  When I saw how much the whole project was going to cost with giant carb, new hoo, new intake and then have to rig up a throttle and kickdown for the engine and make God-knows what other mods I might have to make and money I would have had to speend I said I'm happy with what I've got.

I don't remember seeing anyone selling new 1965 hinges and springs. Joe Suchy lists "$40.00 pair Lightweight Hood springs" but I suspect these are for fiberglass hoods?

Thanks,
