Re: Carlisle 2011

That's too bad Dan. We were there in front of the Mopar Muscle mag
stand. Met up there with Akron Don, Nico Over and Ron Kinter. Also
hooked up with Derrick and Rob and the 'Baaston' crew and Steve C.
Hung out with Scott and his son Joe a lot. Great stuff. I had so
much fun on Saturday I forgot to call my wife; it was our anniversary.
Took a little heat for that ;)

Great pictures Scott. But you took pictures of my trunk and not my
car? My trunk was full of spare parts and tools (and beer). Happy to
say I didn't need any of it. The 63 made it 500 miles round trip from
Long Island, including 2 extra hours typical delay on the Belt Pkwy in
Brooklyn coming back home. Made it without a hitch.

Rained like stink on Friday but Saturday and Sunday were beautiful.

The aluminum Max Wedge engine was on display at the Mopar Direct
Connection booth. It's all repro parts that are available now, or as
a crate. They can give you a block in a variety of displacements up
into the 500's. They're not shown, but they're also making the
up-swept exhaust headers. Someone said Steve Atwell is working with
them on it all.
