Re: email deleted

Jacob,

Just a warning, I just had this happen to a friend on Yahoo mail. It
looks like you are on gmail.

Our friend did not use strong passwords for his accounts. In his case
he was getting a lot of spam, 60 to 70 per day. Someone probably one
of those who were sending him this junk broke his email password and
got into his account. The results were not nice.

Deleted all of his in box
Deleted all of his saved mail
Emptied his trash folder
Deleted all of his contacts and emptied the deleted contracts box

He used the Yahoo Contact list and printed it for use as his phone
book and address book so although I was able to use it to rebuild a
contacts list in Yahoo it also gave the person who got into his
account far too much personal information. He used a very similar
password for all of his accounts including banking !!! We have worked
with him to change all credit cards and pin numbers.

Then they sent one of those junk emails that I'm sure all of you have
received telling everyone in your contacts that you are in trouble and
need money sent.

Contact Google, it may be possible to restore your mail, worth
asking.

If you think there is any possibility of someone having access to your
email account change your password to a strong password.

Sorry to hear that you had a problem however I suspect that if you
need any of your questions answered again to replace some of these
messages all you need to do is ask.

Take Care and Good Luck
Dennis C.

Please address private mail -- mail of interest to only one person -- directly to that person. That is, send parts/car transactions and negotiations as well as other personal messages only to the intended recipient, not to the Clubhouse public address. This practice will protect your privacy, reduce the total volume of mail and fine tune the content signal to Mopar topic. Thanks!
