Re: Poly Engine Paint ??

If you can afford it and have the time, Powder Coat it. Just a suggestion.

Is there any reason to use a primer or is just a very good cleaning of
the block enough?

I have the intake ready for paint and setting on the floor, it is a 4B
cast iron replacement for the current 2B that is on the car.  I had
it media blasted, it is raw metal so this is why I am asking now.  The
engine will come out this winter for an engine compartment cleaning
and engine rebuild. (I have to stop reading the messages about Poly
Strokers, too tempting).

Thanks
Dennis
