Hedman Headers Bow in Middle?

I stuck this question on the forwardlook site too, as they seem to
have some Hedman shorty Header guys over there. I think this might
help anyone thinking about the Hedmann's. I ran in to an issue with
the Hedmans and I don't know whether it's ok or not.

These are going on a 361, so hopefully they'll be better than the
stock logs 2 into 1.

I did have to grinnd the motor mounts down on each side and dimple the
headers a little bit. Apparently a '62 Newport has different motor
mounts then others as they are $150/ea!).

Now, the issue is one of the headers has a outward bow in the middle
of the flange, it's not bad. The other header has an outward bow
about 1/4" through the middle from end to end. It might be a little
more.

I'm curious if that bow is going to pull in as I tighten it to the
studs or is going to be a leaker?

Many Thanks as usual.
