Yeah, it is possible, but if it doesn't starve for fuel, and it probably won't, why go to a 3/8",?
Hemi's and Maxies were making more power than 450hp in the day.
They were all porting, and using manifolds that had two 780cfm's on them.
Really not much changed there.
Unless it just makes you feel good.
Then, by all means,. Change it over to a 3/8" line.
