I asked Don, why at 72 he ran the 319mph, his answer was, I was the 1st to run 200mph in dragster and I wanted to able to say I also ran one at 300mph. Just goes to show you, can keep a good 1/4 miles down, lol.

My experience in long-distance get-together plans is to create a time and place and day to meet ahead of time.
Also, exchange cell phone numbers ahead of time for all those who have posted. I'll send a private email to those who have indicated they are going so you will all have each other's private emails to exchange phone numbers that way if you prefer.

For example: Big Daddy retired from the sport in 1992, but returned to run a quarter-mile at 319 mph when he was 71. "That's why I am who I am," he said.
