Under dash or...?

Okay, I've been thinking about future plans for my car. I found a 45 under dash record player on Craigslist mint for super cheap almost ridiculous. I have an under dash ac unit now that doesn't work, not yet at least. I was rolling around some ideas n thought of removing the ac unit, replacing carpet since there's a hole where the condensation would drain, and installing record player in place. Or, just leaving it alone and install player under glove compartment, but I'm afraid it's gonna clutter the front. It's a cool technology not a lot of people have seen n it'd be neat to have. Just trying to get some feedback. Thanks
