Re: Pertronix Or Not

Hmmm only have a 90 day warenty for the ACCEL #2030 Distributor Conversion.  I read about it http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ACC-2030/ I don't know anything about it.  I assume from China, but they make good things as well as bad.

I WAS a fan of PerTronix...until I had 2 of them DIE! I managed to get them to replace both under warranty (even the the replacement) but I don't think I can bring myself to install another one. This looks like it's worth a try if it's reliable.

BTW-If anyone out there who LIKES PerTronix would like to buy a brand new unit, let me know. Mine's up for sale. Never installed, new in the box. Contact me off list.

If your not a fan of Pertronix here is an Accel set up that does the same thing a little differently, and maybe a little more bullet prouf.  Never have tried them, anyone else here?  This will solve the problem of the out of place MoPar electronic ignition box and distributor on our cars, for those that want to remain factory looking.  This is for info, I have no affiliation.
