Just reinforce or prop up the front of the stand. I don't know if it was a Harbor Freight stand or not, but a member of this group once reported that the stand holding his 383 broke at the front while the engine was attached. He had to buy a new harmonic balancer as the one on the engine got destroyed in the fall.
