Re: Car won't start without pouring gas in the carb...



There is a sock filter (or should be) on the sending unit inside the
gas tank.  Could be a problem there.  Did you try cranking the engine
with the fuel line disconnected as suggested by Dodger?  That will at
least tell you if gas is getting to the carb.
