Last night i just got threw wiring up a SUN Tach in the Console of my Dodge, it works great,and i also have a new Auto meter Pro- Monster Tach that i may consider using on it.
What brand of Tach are u using.

So, I could run the tach signal wire all the way to the + side of the
coil. But then I thought why run a wire all that way. Why not
connect it to where the + coil wire comes off the firewall ballast
resistor and not have another wire running over my engine?
