Re: Junk Yard Tools ??

The one that Rich is referring to was a blue point 3/8 (snap on).  They are a bit on the expensive side, but mine was a Xmas present from one of my boys.  If you have other battery powered tools, I would go with that brand, as it would cause you to have extra charged batteries on hand, if you are not already into battery power, then you can go with what ever.  I would have a hard time justifying one of the name brands only because of the amount of usage it would get,  I have my compressor in the shop and use a lot of air powered tools when at home.  I did just purchase a 1/2 inch impact, and a 4 1/2 inch angle grinder for taking to the JYs.  The brand name on it is Neiko, bought my impact off of Amazon, was just a little over a $100, and has 350 lb. of torque, almost double the Craftsman model and way cheaper, I have only used it a little, and it has performed well, it is not as sturdy as some of the other models, but has more power, and for it's limited use by me should do well.

Please address private mail -- mail of interest to only one person -- directly to that person. That is, send parts/car transactions and negotiations as well as other personal messages only to the intended recipient, not to the Clubhouse public address. This practice will protect your privacy, reduce the total volume of mail and fine tune the content signal to Mopar topic. Thanks!
