Re: AAJ Brake Lines too Short?

The bottom line is the bleeders MUST BE at the top or you will never be able to bleed your brakes.  The hose does not matter, mount them accordingly.  I've seen a couple of cases people have mounted calipers on the wrong side and had low soft pedals after wasting gallons of fluid run through their systems.

The only resolution to bleeding your brakes with the bleeders on the bottom is to remove the calipers and hold them with the bleeders up and power bleed them or stick a piece of wood in to keep the calipers colapsed.

Mo,
Not sure how many kits AAJ now sells for our cars, but a couple of years ago, the kit he sold required that you reverse the calipers, so that the line connections are facing towards the back of the car. now whether that was only for the earlier kits, and has changed, I don't know?

Maybe your caliper needs to be turned around or switched to the other
side. Makeing the caliper hose attachment closer to where the hose end
mounts on the frame. .......................MO
