Re: 1962 Newport Update

I look a long time before buying this car.  Rust is the worst thing for cars so I wouldn't buy one that had rust damage.  I just don't know how to deal with it.  I've been taking pics, labling zip lock bags and putting parts in boxes.  I hope I don't loose them.  LOL.   She came with a 361 2bbl push button 727.  As much as I would love to paint her a differnt color and change the motor in her I've been talked in to leaving her stock.  She will still get up and go and look good doing it.  I've named her Rosie, I thought it suited her.  She will be painted with the factory white roof, and the Coal Grey (sandstone) pink/beige color for the body.  I'm told I'll get her back in 2 months....seems a bit fast but I'm planning on 4 months.  You never know.

I'll keep ya'll posted!

Thanks

Please address private mail -- mail of interest to only one person -- directly to that person. That is, send parts/car transactions and negotiations as well as other personal messages only to the intended recipient, not to the Clubhouse public address. This practice will protect your privacy, reduce the total volume of mail and fine tune the content signal to Mopar topic. Thanks!
