Re: 1963-64 Newoprt NewYorker seats

Yes I've seen sample of the fabric, and it is a differnt cloth patteren, I would not really care if that is my only problem, I can live with that.  But spending nearly $4000 to recover a front and rear bench seat is going to kill me.  I'd rather put in buckets from a 300 for much less than that.  They make covers for those too.  Damn Newport.  Got to be the most expensive thing to restore and one of the more worthless thing on wheels....but I do love it so!  I know....I'm sick...But so are the rest of you! heheheheh.

Ok,,,,,, again  nothing positive, but would think that the difference is more than likely in the fabric, colors, and the stiching, as that is the difference in the B bodies

Whops, once again I had an incomplete thought.  What I meant to say is my interchange book say....1962-1964 Chrysler full size front seats are the same, and the floors are the same.  BUT I can't order 1962 or 1963 seat covers, but I can order 1964....that's why I wanted photos of 63 and 64 2 doors HT or Converts for Newports and New Yorkers.  :)  Sorry about that.

Have no definite answer for you but going by memory the front seat would have probably been the same in both the convert and the hardtop, but memory tells me that the back seat was a bit narrower because of the roof arms located at the sides of the converts rear seat

Does anybody own a 1963-64 Newport or New Yorker 2 door or convertable that you can take some good photos of the front and rear seats?  My interchange book says they are the same floor, same seats, but I can't get a clear answer about the covers for the seats.  I'm just wondering what the differnece is.

Thanks
