 I like to have the brake shoes arched to the  fresh ground brake
drums. . Safer because you get total brake lining from the first day,
not having to "wear" in the linings.  My shop re-lined my cores, and
if the drum were to be a little to big in the diameter, they could
install thicker linings.  My 56 Chrysler will put you thru the window
if seat belts are not used.!......................MO
