I did this when I took possession of my '65 Valiant.  
Well worth the $45.   Gives complete breakdown of
options:  engine, color, trim, accessories....even the
day it was built and shipped and which dealer it was
sent to....all printed on nice water-marked Chrysler paper.

I had it laminated and will keep it with the car.

As a side note the IBM card/build sheet  copy they sent was
pretty far deteriorated and not very legible.

Thanks everyone for all the info. My brother called Chrysler Historical Soceity and they said they would decode the fender tag. He has to send them the info along with a copy of the title and I think $45. If they do it it will be well worth the $45. So lets see what happens. Im keeping my fingers crossed. Bill
