Re: 64 Sport Fury Street Wedge

The back of the glovebox is one of the most common places as the sheet
was taped there when the instrument panel was being assembled. When
the panel arrived at the line, the sheet would have been used to
verify which car it was to be installed in.

The sheets found on the seat backs or bottoms were, again, placed
there when the seats were made. Which is how they got wrapped around
the seat springs. As they will not be seen once the seats are in
place, no one has to take the time to remove the sheet and toss it in
the bin.

Broadcast sheets are also attached by wheelwell openings (suspension,
steering, brakes etc.) and the underside of carpets and mats. But
these all get tossed as they either can be seen when the job is done
or they are easy to remove. I found one taped to the back side of a
rear door panel on my 1985 Dodge 600.

Bascially, there is no set place where a broadcast sheet should be.
If the assembly line worker takes the time to remove and toss the
sheet(s) you will not find any. Or if you bought a car that was owned
by someone like me you will not find any either.

All you can do is check under the seats, carpets, trunk mat, and
glovebox to see what is there.

Please address private mail -- mail of interest to only one person -- directly to that person. That is, send parts/car transactions and negotiations as well as other personal messages only to the intended recipient, not to the Clubhouse public address. This practice will protect your privacy, reduce the total volume of mail and fine tune the content signal to Mopar topic. Thanks!
