I was talking to my friend that does ceramic coatings and he suggests

 

pick off as much as you can, soak area with lacquer thinner or equivalent,as scrub off remains with 0000 steel wool and thinner, when it is gone buff shine back with more 0000 and some metal polish

Try WD-40. It won't hurt the coating.
