Jim it might be the neutral safety switch. Did you try putting it in gear
and back in neutral? When you turn the key with a light on does it dim? If
not then I suspect the switch or a connection to it.

I found a starter relay at a local NAPA but it will take them a few
hours to get it.  Is there anything else it can be or anything I can
try?
