well I guess my 62 newport is an oddball then because it has the original painting it's nice in shiny and it's all over the place.  check on a 62 300 or 300 letter car around the front windshield on the inside of the back windshield on the inside it's all chrome plated nice in shiny.  not sure when chrysler started caring about how shiny the inside was but it certainly wasn't in 1962.  my car since I paint color is called rosewood metalic, it's the same color that coulda been used on the outside.
