Chrysler back then was a "never say never" corporation. :)  The interior shown indicates it is a Polara 500, which makes it rarer on any side of the Pacific. I agree the RHD combination kicks it over into the very rare category.
The Dodge now has a 1965 383 but the ad indicates the original TorqueFlite was rebuilt, which would make the car a 361 originally.  http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/specialist-cars/hot-rods/auction-489727001.htm

I'm wondering if someone imported a Polara 500 back in 1962 and converted it to RHD? The vin would provide a clue as to the origin / options.
