Re: 65 Fury Pace Car item

I had a link from the '62-'65 site to a reference page about 1965 Pace Cars but in true Web behavior the source moved the page or went offline.

So a quick look reveals claims all over the map.

Mercum claims the 35 1965 Pace Car convertibles were built.
http://mecum.com/auctions/lot_detail.cfm?LOT_ID=SC0510-91093

A dealer selling on claims 1500 produced for each Plymouth dealer (which is likely wrong).

An article claims a total of 6,272 '65 Sport Fury 'verts were made.

Also, a 7 minute video
http://deansbodyshop.com/Shop%20Pictures/1965%20Plymouth%20Sport%20Fury%20Convertible%20Indy%20Pace%20Car/65SportFury-main.htm
makes restoring a '65 'vert into a Indy clone look easy. LOL

Thanks,
Gary H.

Please address private email -- email of interest to only one person -- directly to that person. That is, email your parts/car transactions and negotiations, as well as other personal messages, only to the intended recipient. Do not just press "reply" and send your email to everyone using the general '62-'65 Clubhouse public email address. This practice will protect your privacy, reduce the total volume of mail and fine-tune the content signal to Mopar topic. Thanks!
