The Carter pump I put on is pretty loud.  I'm not sure it's as loud as you're looking for, but I can hear it inside the car pretty good.  I don't mind it, though.

Odd request. Quiet pumps have been mentioned on this topic, but what
are examples of new electric pumps that are loud? Like you can hear
them several feet away from the car?  I like that sound as much as I
do the sound of solid lifters!  OH how I wish you could buy a Stewert
Warner  anywhere for $29.95 !!!!Now they are N/A, Thanks for any
input.....................MO
