Re: New Welder Recommendations ??

getting a 220 is always better, but I'm on my second 110.I now have a 135 Hobart and love it.With a little knowledge a good welder can weld more than 1/4 with one. I used both of mine on race car frames and never had a problem with the welds even after running the car into a concrete wall at about 70 MPH{NOT by my choice} lol tubes broke but all the welds held just fine. The welder Eastwood has on sale would be the best choice by far just on the price alone. My Hobart ran me a lil over $400 without bottle.IF you can afford a good Miller or Hobart 220 volt go for it,IF not then go for the Eastwood 110 volt.

Anything that my 120 volt can't handle would be done by my stick
welder. Which I already have....................MO
