Good intent: avoiding having our favorite Mopars not burn up in flames. Yikes. But apparently this  email is more spam than not. Yes it is true that static electricity can cause fires at gas stations. But it is undetermined that static electricity was actually the cause of a number of gas station refueling fires. http://www.snopes.com/autos/hazards/static.asp

2C: By the way, a general rule is if an "important issue" type generally-addressed email ends with a plea to pass that email along, don't. I find almost all of these "plea" or "warning" emails are false, sorta true or agenda-driven.
