Sounds like it's turning over strong?

Unplug wire from distributor and hold near something metal and
grounded like a bolt head.  Are you getting a spark?  If not, maybe
coil or ballast resistor.  You can briefly bypass the wires on the
ballast resistor to check it.

Are you getting a spark at the plug wire tips?  If not, could be
distributor.  Open distributor and look for cracks, dirt, wear on the
contacts; anything unusual.  Make sure rotor metal is solid and not
burned through.

Like Jimmy says, if you're getting a good spark, pouring some gas down
the carb should run until it burns that fuel.  If you pump the
accelerator linkage by hand and look down the throat of the carb, you
should see it squirt.
